The local people come here daily for swimming. Many local restaurants have been set up along the beaches. Stop at the beach for a walk along the sandy beach.
Continue to drive to the Marble mountain which are considered as 5 elements of the universe: Metal, wood, water, fire and earth. The legend said a dragon laid a big egg which broke into 5 after being hatched by a turtle. The egg pieces turned into rocks as they are at present. Each mount has different colours that make the mountain famous by their marble.
Visit an old pagoda located right at the foot of the Mountain Metal. The pagoda is divided into several sections. The courtyard is well decorated with flowers and Buddha statues. You can walk around the pagoda and luckily meet with a monk who takes care of the bonsai and decoration trees in the yard.
At the foot of these mountain is the Marble village. 500 years ago, a group of stone artisans from Thanh Hoa province moved to Da Nang for more jobs becaue the Marble mountain was a big supply of marble for their business. They have formed a village of all marble workers. They are very skillful at carving marble into beautiful statues and all household facilities.
Actually, the Cham used to be here centuries ago. Many stone stelea and reliefs from Champa kingdom have been discovered inside many caves on the Marble mountain. The marble villagers make lots of stone statues for sales.
