Tour Description:

A 02-hour drive from the pier will take you to Ho Chi Minh city, the most crowded city with nearly 8 million inhabitants. It used to be called the Pearl of the Orient and Saigon. Nowadays, the city is economically booming.

Relax in the middle of the distance for a comfort before continuing to drive to the first sightseeing place of the city.

Stop at the former Presidential Palace where the president of the pro-American government used to work at. The building witnessed the end of the Vietnam war on April 30, 1975 when a tank of the Revolutionary forces hit the main gate and entered the headquarters of the South government. Walk around this building of more than 100 rooms of different decorations such as the conference hall, the banquet room, the credential room, the presidential private residence, the gambling room, the dancing terrace, the radio, the war room,..

Transfer to the City Cathedral and the Post Office of colonial style of architecture. You have a lot of chances to take photos of Virgin Maria.

Continue to drive to a lacqueware factory. Visit inside the factory. Lacquerware paintings are unique in Vietnam. Artists may spend months for a masterpiece of art. You can see how they make and polish and artwork. You may have a chance to buy some interesting souvenirs for friends and neighbours over here.

Transfer to Rex hotel for free time to explore the city center and the shopping street of Dong khoi. and lunch on own.

The guide and driver will transfer you back to the ship. Stop in the middle of the journey for comfort before you head for the pier.
